Did you know that in the Pikes Peak Region alone, 16,000 calls were made to the Child Abuse and Neglect hotline in 2017?

 

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and is a time to not only raise awareness, but also to acknowledge the importance of communities working together toward the prevention of child abuse. Here in El Paso and Teller Counties, there are some amazing people working to better the lives of children who have experienced abuse, neglect, and domestic violence.
